Sawyer Schultz // Bridgewater-Emry:
My favorite memory was probably just ending the senior season with a win and enjoying every moment with my team. The toughest player I played against was definitely Jacob Prouty for sure. I’m most proud of being able and having the blessing of playing in the state tournament.
Luke Ronsiek // O’Gorman:
My favorite memory of the year was the state tourney particularly the last second play against Yankton in the semi finals. The hardest player that I’ve had to face all year would probably be Tucker large just because of how good of a defender he was. I’m most proud of the fact the we started the year 0-2 and finished just points away from a state title.
Nick Hoyt // Harrisbrug:
My favorite memory is hanging with the team in Rapid City during the state tournament. The toughest player I played against was Matthew Mors. Im most proud of making it to the state tournament for the third year in a row and getting 3rd place and surprising a lot of people.
Jared Jaros // SF Lincoln:
My favorite memories of the year would be the team meals with the guys. The tough player I played against was Nolan Ransom in practice everyday. Im most proud of how we stuck together as a team throughout the whole season and helped each other up through the bumps we had in our season.
Evan Talcott // Brandon Valley:
My favorite memory was hanging with my teammates in the hotel at the state tournament. Also, celebrating on the court with my friends and teammates. The toughest player I played against was Matthew Hurt. I am most proud of winning the state tournament with my childhood friends.
Noah Freidel // Tea Area:
My favorite memory is walking off the Denny state champs for the last time. Toughest player I played against in my senior year from South Dakota, I would say Mitchell Goodbary, the dude is so strong and aggressive. I am most proud of my teammates. We all came together and got the job done when it was needed.
Jacob Prouty // Clark Willow Lake:
My favorite memory is probably winning the state championship, and dropping 37 beating the Loui record. I’d have to say Sawyer Schultz is the toughest defender I’ve faced. He is an athletic freak. Im most proud of finishing what we started last year. I know we couldn’t get it done last year so we got it this year for those guys.
Dylan Pourier // Rapid City Central:
My favorite memory has gotta be beating central with game winning free throws. Nate Brecht is probably the toughest dude I played just cause he can do a little bit of everything. I’m proud of my team for not listening to what everyone else had to say about us and our experience and how they just went out and hooped.
