Davion Bradford 7’0″ Mehlville (’20) – A physical young big who draws a double-team just about every time he touches the ball in the paint. He has continued to improve with his power game and ability to finish. He is currently averaging 15.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks while shooting about 70 percent from the field. He has already secured a number of Division I offers.
Ryan Kalkbrenner 7’0″ Trinity (’20) – One of the best shot blockers in the state, Kalkbrenner uses his great length and sense of timing to control a game defensively while rarely getting into foul trouble. He has also become a bigger part of the offense during his junior season and has has delivered. He averages 16.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.7 blocks while shooting 70 percent from the field. His improved skill set includes a nice touch from out to the perimeter and nice finesse moves.
Sekou Gassamma 6’10” DeSmet (’21) – A developing young power forward who has already earned early offers from LSU and Indiana State after looking very good in preseason workouts and showcases. He is a force on defense with his length and shot blocking and he can really run the court well. On a well-balanced DeSmet team that is currently 14-3, he is averaging 9.2 points and 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 blocks.
Dylan Caruso 6’9″ Mansfield (’19) – An excellent small-school performer who has been a standout in Southwest Missouri for the past four seasons. He is strong around the basket, but he is skilled enough to handle the ball and make plays off the dribble and as a passer. He is currently averaging 16.2 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.5 blocks for a Mansfield team that is currently 18-2 and ranked among the best teams in Class 2.
Yaya Keita 6’9″ DeSmet (’21) – An athletic young big who plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. He injured his knee in July and is still rounding into full form after returning to full time action early in the season. Enjoyed a big performance this week with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks. He is a physical performer who loves to rebound, block shots and run the court. His offensive game is also starting to come around with more experience.
Tre Morrison 6’9″ Parkview (’19) – Improving big who is at his best on the defensive end of the floor, blocking nearly four shots a game, which has been the norm for his career. He is currently averaging seven points and eight rebounds a game.
