It’s been an exciting season thus far in Class B North Dakota thanks to quite a bit of parity. On top of that, a lot of the top teams play really challenging schedules and against each other. So there’s a lot of potential for teams to stack together impressive weeks nearly every week.
Here are some teams that had particularly good weeks
Hillsboro/Central Valley
The Burros responded nicely after suffering their first loss of the season to Thompson the previous week, earning two wins last week including a huge one over Four Winds/Minnewaukan. Carson Henningsgard has been terrific all year for Hillsboro and as the rest of the team gains experience and confidence, the Burros will be even more of a force.
Kindred
Kindred’s only loss came in its season-opener against Hillsboro. Since then, the Vikings have won eight in a row with several impressive victories to their name. The most recent nice win came last week when Kindred beat Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier 56-46 in Edgeley.
Stanley
Stanley’s rebounded nicely from a 4-4 start, riding a four-game winning streak. The Blue Jays picked up three solid wins last week. The biggest one came Tuesday when Stanley beat Lewis and Clark – Berthold 48-35 in Berthold. The Blue Jays also took down Divide County and Our Redeemer.
