Expert Analysis
Bret Swanson | Prep Hoops Scout
Hall plays active around the glass for the Indians. Tim is originally from Kentucky and spent time last year at Vertical Academy. Hall came to the Palmetto State this past season. He moves around the paint well and really rebounds the ball at a good clip. Hall can step-out and knockdown the 17-19-foot jumper.

Hall has had himself a productive season at Westminster Catawba Christian as he’s shown off his ability to be a force on both ends of the floor in the frontcourt. He’s produced 23.1 ppg, 14.2 rpg, 2.2 spg and 2.2 bpg through 18 appearances for the Indians as they approach the NCISAA Playoffs. He’s an underrated face in the state due to gain some traction given his ability to play around the rim on both ends. DII and DIII programs would be wise to take a look.

Hall is a new face here in the Palmetto State this season. Tim originally from Lexington, KY played last season at Vertical Academy in Charlotte, NC. Hall is a bit of a TWEENER on the floor and plays really well around the rim. He plays bigger than his size which helps him on both ends of the floor especially on the boards.
Hall has good explosion at times to get by bigger defenders and score the rock. He has been a great addition to the Westminster Catawba squad this past season.

Tim Hall falls in the same category of big bodied wings, but with an entirely different skillset. His game probably translates as an undersized 4, and it shows, as he’s strong as a rim runner, finisher, and screener. He’s very mobile and physical enough to be a problem in pick and rolls with his guards. And don’t question his ability to jump, because he can do that with the best of them. It will be interesting to see where he ends up, as he can play with the best of them.

Tim Hall is such a solid, undersized 4 man that doesn’t get enough love for the work he puts in every night. He isn’t going to wow you with high flying finishes or knock down crazy jumpers, but he will post a double double every night and help his team win. He had 20 points in games against Fort Mill and Sun Valley, and also had 25 total rebounds over the two games. He finishes possessions on the defensive end with big rebounds and also pulls down misses on the offensive glass, looking to create a second chance opportunity for his team. He is one of the best guys in the state no one talks about in this 2023 class, and it will be no surprise to watch him finish this year with more positive performances like the two we saw last week.
