Hustle Region Preview: Team Rampage
We may be in the middle of high school basketball season but it’s not too early to look ahead to what’s coming up on the AAU circuit. Over the next few months we will be taking a look at the teams that will be participating in the PrepHoops Circuit Hustle Region and here’s a look at Team Rampage out of California.
Team Rampage will have teams in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions of the Hustle Region and will look to continue their success the past few years in getting their young athletes college recruiting exposure.
Here’s a transcript of a conversation we had with Team Rampage 17U head coach Brandon Bracy.
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
Myself and Director Antonio Hodges decided to start the Team Rampage program to provide a great service to the youth in Northern California, especially the Solano County area. We started in 2015 and have been able to produce over 30 college athletes.
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
The goal for our program for 2019 is to get as many of our athletes as possible into college.
What is your program’s mission each year?
Our program’s mission is to develop young men on and off the court.
Do you know of any players that will be back in your program this year? Who should we have our eye on?
Dayton Magana PG 5’7’ – Central Catholic HS 2020
Daniel Fagan PG 5’10’ – De Anza HS 2020
Jeremiah Jones PG 5’11’ – Wood HS 2021
Why did you choose the Prep Hoops Circuit?
We chose the Prep Hoops Circuit because of their access to several different college coaches and with the NCAA recruiting period changing, this Circuit looked like the best way to go.
