Virginia is home to many up and coming young talents emerging all across the state. That doesn’t make our job any easier as we attempt to pick our All-Freshmen Teams, but we gave it a try. As always, these types of lists are open to debate, but below is the group we came up with for our 2016 Vantage All Freshmen Teams.
Freshman of the Year
Anthony Harris – 6’2″ freshman – Paul VIAnthony Harris Jr., 6’2″ PG, Paul VI: Anthony Harris Jr. played like a veteran down the stretch for his team. He helped lead them to a magnificent comeback vs. their arch rival Bishop O’Connell in the state semifinal, contributing 19 points and 9 assists. Having scored in each game he played this season, the future is bright for the young floor general.
