Ball-Handling and Playmaking

Kobe Redden is a guard worth monitoring for his ball-handling and playmaking potential. His ability to operate with the ball and look for opportunities to create for teammates gives him an offensive foundation to build on. For a young guard, developing those skills together can open up different ways to impact possessions rather than relying solely on scoring.

The next step for Redden is showing how consistently he can use his handle to create advantages against defensive pressure, make sound decisions, and turn those advantages into quality opportunities. His continued development as a creator will be an important part of his evaluation as a 2031 prospect.

He was highly productive throughout this weekend’s C2C Preps Midwest Regional Camp, showcasing impressive shooting efficiency while also demonstrating his ability to attack the basket and finish effectively at the rim. If he continues to expand his overall skill set and build on this performance, he is on track for a very promising season.
