C2C Preps: 2031 Players on the Rise

In this article, we'll highlight players in the 2031 class who we project to make a significant jump during the upcoming 2026–2027 season. These are prospects who have already shown flashes of their potential and have the tools, development, and upside to elevate their games to another level over the next year. As they continue to grow and develop, we believe these players are positioned to make major statements and strengthen their standing within the 2031 national class.    He closed out the AAU season on a very strong note at the Junior EYBL Peach Jam, playing a key role in helping lead his team to the championship game. He followed that up with another impressive showing at this year's Elite 60 in Atlanta, where he played with a noticeable level of focus, intensity, and purpose. With the combination of his developing skill set, competitive mentality, and continued growth, he has all the tools to take a significant jump this upcoming season and establish himself as one of the notable risers in the 2031 class.     He's a player I had limited opportunities to evaluate this past season, but in the times I did see him, he displayed a versatile, high-level skill set and the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. I'm looking forward to getting a chance to evaluate him much more frequently throughout the 2026–2027 season. With the physicality, competitive mindset, and versatility he has already shown, I expect him to take a significant jump this season and continue establishing himself as a player to watch in the 2031 class.     He put together a very impressive finish to his 2026 season, delivering strong performances at UA Futures' final two major national events. He is a high-level point guard who separates himself with elite shooting ability while also displaying an advanced IQ and strong feel for the game. The way he closed out the season showed a lot of growth and momentum, and I fully expect him to take a major jump during the upcoming 2026–2027 season and continue establishing himself among the top guards in the 2031 class.     He closed out his 2026 season on a strong note, helping guide his team to the Jr. EYBL Peach Jam. However, what stood out to me the most was the level of focus, efficiency, and basketball IQ he displayed at the Elite 60 Camp at the end of August. He played with tremendous purpose and showed a mature approach to the game that really caught my attention. Based on the way he finished the year, I expect him to make a significant jump during the 2026–2027 season and establish himself as one of the notable risers in the 2031 class.     He put together a very productive 2026 season in the limited opportunities I had to evaluate him. Each time I saw him, he displayed an intriguing combination of athleticism, skill, and a competitive mentality that gives him considerable upside moving forward. Those tools should put him in a great position to make a significant jump during the upcoming 2026–2027 season. I'm looking forward to having more opportunities to evaluate him this year and watching how his game continues to progress and develop.     He put together a successful 2026 season, but what has stood out to me the most has been the growth he has already shown this fall. He is developing into a high-level lead guard who sets the tone with his defensive aggression, toughness, and playmaking ability. He has also shown noticeable improvement as an outside shooter, becoming a much more consistent threat from three. With the opportunity to take on an even bigger role for his team this year, I expect him to be a major piece of their success and take another significant step forward during the 2026–2027 season.
