BADGE: LIMITLESS RANGE

Simpson has the type of confidence that immediately puts defenders on notice. He can create his own shot with his handle, but his ability to pull up from deep forces defenders to respect him well beyond the normal scoring areas.

He’s comfortable getting to his spots, shooting off the dribble and extending his range when defenders give him room. Other evaluators have also noted his ability to pull up from deep and his confidence as a shot-maker.

Boogs Take:
The range changes how defenses have to guard him. When a guard can comfortably shoot from that far out while also creating off the bounce, Limitless Range makes sense.

Kyrie uses exceptional change of pace and ball control to thrive in one-on-one situations and attack the basket. He creates separation with quick dribble moves and consistently puts defenders off balance. His ability to generate space makes him a dangerous scorer from multiple areas of the floor.

Tough, gritty guard who plays with tremendous heart and brings a true floor general mentality. He sees the game beyond the play in front of him, consistently making reads and finding ways to put teammates in position to succeed. With continued development, he has the tools to emerge as one of the premier floor generals in his class. Fearless competitor who embraces pressure and never shies away from a challenge.

He closed out his 2026 season on a strong note, helping guide his team to the Jr. EYBL Peach Jam. However, what stood out to me the most was the level of focus, efficiency, and basketball IQ he displayed at the Elite 60 Camp at the end of August. He played with tremendous purpose and showed a mature approach to the game that really caught my attention. Based on the way he finished the year, I expect him to make a significant jump during the 2026–2027 season and establish himself as one of the notable risers in the 2031 class.

He demonstrated a lot of poise and a strong overall skill set as a playmaker and finisher in his first game Saturday. He consistently showed the ability to knock down shots, finish effectively in the paint, and facilitate for his teammates at a high level throughout the game.

Plays with heart that far exceeds his size, paired with an elite change of pace and feel for the game. He has a strong understanding of timing and never shies away from contact. He consistently attacks downhill, absorbs bumps, and finishes through traffic with confidence. His finishing package is impressive, with a variety of crafty moves around the rim using either hand. He also sees the floor extremely well and has the passing instincts to create quality opportunities for teammates.
