Here is a closer look at some of the new prospects who earned their spot with strong performances this spring and summer.    Bethel makes the move to Calvary Christian for his junior season following an impressive summer with the KT Kings, where he earned MADE Hoops Challenge Circuit MVP honors. Debuting at #39 in our updated rankings, Bethel is a versatile combo forward and high level athlete with an intriguing offensive skill set. He is especially effective in the midrange and plays with an impressive feel for the game. Bethel also brings consistent activity to the glass, where he is a productive rebounder on both ends of the floor.     The Ukrainian big man is enrolled at Balboa for the 2026-27 season and joins a talented roster under head coach Dominique Jones. Koshelev possesses high level size and length, along with better than average mobility and good touch around the basket. He uses his physical tools effectively on the defensive end, where he can alter shots and provide a presence in the paint. Koshelev has plenty of long term upside as his skill set continues to develop and he becomes familiar with the US game.     Fuentes is a strong, physical forward who averaged 12.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game for OBG Elite during July. The junior is at his best attacking the basket, where he can get downhill off the bounce and use his strength to play through contact and finish in the paint. Fuentes also brings significant value on the defensive end with the versatility to guard multiple positions. He plays with impressive toughness and competitiveness and consistently brings a physical presence on both ends of the floor.     Arriving in the United States from the Dominican Republic, Hernandez is a true lead guard who can impact the game as both a scorer and distributor. He has an impressive command of the basketball and is a willing and capable passer with good court vision and the ability to create opportunities for teammates. Hernandez can get into the paint off the bounce and is a creative finisher around the basket. He is certainly a prospect who could quickly climb our rankings as we continue to evaluate him.     Ware checks in at No. 96 in our updated 2028 rankings following an impressive season with the [program_tooltip program_id='2799557' first='Mighty' last='Titans'] on the UA Rise circuit, where he averaged 10.4 points and 2.4 assists per game. He is a quick, athletic ball handling guard with good length who excels at getting downhill and putting pressure on the defense. Ware continues to improve as a perimeter shot maker. He is also an instinctive and disruptive defender who can create turnovers and quickly turn defense into offense.
