West Liberty Elite Camp Eye-Catchers

Craig had a productive showing at camp and brought a toughness to the game that stood out whenever he stepped onto the floor. He found different ways to put the ball in the bucket and was able to connect on shots from deep. Craig is the epitome of a floor general, doing a nice job steering the ship and keeping his team organized on the offensive end. His toughness, leadership, and ability to contribute as a scorer make him a prospect regional Division III programs should be knocking down the door to recruit.     Walter showed his positional versatility throughout camp by playing either guard spot. He made several shots from the perimeter and is a threat to knock down three-pointers when given room. Walter was also a ballhawk on the defensive end, using his activity to generate steals and turn defense into offense. He showed the ability to finish through contact inside and consistently found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Walter would be a nice pickup for a small college program.     The shifty guard was able to bob and weave his way to different spots off the bounce and consistently pressure the defense by touching the paint at a high volume. Anytime Basic has the basketball in his hands, he is a surefire threat to score. He can also step out and knock down shots from three, adding another layer to his offensive game. I liked how Basic found his teammates for scoring opportunities of their own and wasn't afraid to utilize bounce passes to make plays. Basic is a prospect who should have division three programs knocking down his door.     Watkins had another solid outing at the Mountain East Conference Elite Camp this weekend, putting his full offensive skill set on display. He makes shots from an array of spots at a high level and can be difficult to contain once he gets into a groove. Watkins has a nice blend of strength and size at the guard spot, which he uses to his advantage on the offensive end. He doesn't get sped up and plays with good poise, while his feel for the game allows him to consistently find teammates and make others better.     Colistra impressed with his offensive versatility throughout camp. His bigger frame allows him to take up space on the interior, where he showed the ability to score around the basket and take advantage of what the defense gave him. Colistra is effective lumbering his way to the hoop and uses his size to create opportunities on the attack. Defensively, he uses his length to contest shots and make his presence felt around the rim.
