Walter’s game was very steady during the half I saw, and I liked the aggression he played with on the attack. He consistently found different ways to put the ball in the cup and showed a willingness to pressure the defense. Walter has put together several strong outings over the last few times I have seen him play, continuing to show noticeable progress in his game. Based on his recent performances, I expect him to see an uptick in the next release of the Pennsylvania rankings.

Walter connected on a few early three-pointers and quickly found his groove from behind the arc. He can be difficult to contain once he gets going and does a nice job creating scoring opportunities off the bounce. I like his ability to play either guard spot and consistently make plays for others at a high clip. Walter also has no issues making hustle plays and finding ways to impact the game in multiple areas. He continues to put together a strong late summer, showing that his production translates across different settings. Local small-college programs should be prioritizing him.

Walter showed his positional versatility throughout camp by playing either guard spot. He made several shots from the perimeter and is a threat to knock down three-pointers when given room. Walter was also a ballhawk on the defensive end, using his activity to generate steals and turn defense into offense. He showed the ability to finish through contact inside and consistently found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Walter would be a nice pickup for a small college program.

Walter provided valuable depth for his FR squad and consistently found ways to impact the game offensively. He did a nice job of getting into the paint and applying constant pressure on the defense whenever the ball was in his hands. His quickness and low center of gravity allowed him to evade defenders, create driving lanes, and get to his spots on the floor. Walter is at his best in a multi-guard lineup, where he can play off others, attack closeouts, and use his playmaking ability to keep the offense moving. His ability to penetrate and put stress on opposing defenses makes him a valuable piece on the offensive end.

Walter is able to find ways to score in the mid-range off the bounce. He gets post players paint touches with his passing. Walter needs to tighten his handle. He contorts his body well on the attack. I would like to see him play off of two more when he is going downhill. Walter seeks out contact when on the attack. He finds ways to make the most of chances from the charity stripe.
