Junior Prospects Trending in the Right Direction

Several prospects elevated their stock with impressive performances throughout June and July, while others continued to show steady improvement in their game. Here is a closer look at some of the juniors making their move up the rankings.    Hall makes the move to Andrew Jackson for the 2026-27 season and brings an intriguing combination of positional size and above average athleticism to the perimeter. The junior is at his best attacking the basket, where he can get downhill off the bounce and use his physical tools to finish effectively at the rim. Hall also brings significant value on the defensive end, where his size, athleticism and versatility allow him to guard multiple positions. Expect his stock to continue to rise throughout his junior season.     Baqai moved up 10 spots in our updated 2028 rankings and continues to establish himself as a smart, steady lead guard. He has an impressive command of the basketball, plays with strength and is difficult for defenders to speed up or knock off his spots. Baqai is an excellent passer with impressive court vision who can get by his defender, create opportunities for teammates and finish creatively in the paint. A true point guard, he has the feel, decision making and leadership ability to effectively run a team.     One of the state's top perimeter shot-makers, Barnes impressed with Bell Creek and XPC Elite throughout the spring and summer. He has deep range, excellent shot preparation and a quick release, while also showing a strong understanding of how to use screens and move without the ball to create open looks. Barnes can attack closeouts with straight line drives and is a capable passer who does a good job finding open teammates when multiple defenders collapse on him.     Lewis moved up in our updated rankings following a pair of impressive evaluations with Florida PRO on the MADE Hoops Circuit this offseason. The left handed wing has good positional size and the ball skills to create offense off the dribble. He is an effective finisher in the paint and continues to make strides as a perimeter shot maker, showing increased consistency from beyond the arc.     Graham makes the move to North Broward Prep for his junior season and is a prospect with plenty of upside to continue climbing the rankings. The improving big man has high level size and soft touch around the basket, along with enough skill to step away from the paint and knock down open perimeter shots. Graham is a productive rebounder in his area and uses his size and length to alter shots around the rim. As his game continues to develop, expect his stock to keep trending upward.
