Williams will walk into the MIAA for his senior season as one of the more skilled and physically-imposing forward prospects. The 6-foot-5 reigning South Shore League all-star plays with complete control at all times and can effortlessly get to the front of the rim by way of his bully-ball mindset and back-to-the-basket game. But he can also take players off the dribble and does an excellent job finding shooters on the perimeter and cutters on the baseline when the defense collapses on him, which happens often. Williams should be Norwell’s best player this season will likely be able to lead them to a state tournament birth if everybody stays healthy. Watch out for them as a sleeper team.

I always enjoy watching Williams play. The 6-foot-5 forward has a super strong body, and he knows how to use it. He bullies opposing players under the rim and does a good job getting to two feet in the paint—I’m most impressed with his willingness to find players for easy catch-and-shoot threes once the defense collapses on him near the rim. He runs the floor, he defends hard, and he plays the right way. Williams could certainly improve his finishing ability, but he’s a definite college player and will find a fit when the time comes. He should be one of the more physically imposing players in the MIAA this season for Norwell High School.
