Expert Analysis
Logan Greenwell | Prep Hoops Scout
The tallest player at camp came in the form of 6’9” Drew Patin, who showed a truly intriguing skill set at his size. Not a prototypical big man that is a bruiser and plays with his back to the basket. Drew was extremely comfortable playing out on the perimeter and showed his ability to drive closeouts and make good decisions while putting it on the floor. Excellent pick and roll and pick and pop big. Good hands with the patience’s to not rush his roll and force anything. Pretty thin right now, but did a good job playing on balance and playing through contact. Solid rebounder and rim protector on the defensive end that allowed his team to play in transition and get easy buckets.

Athletic stretch four with intriguing skill set at 6’9″. Mobile big man with fluid motion that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Skilled inside-out four man that scores in a variety of different ways. Solid catch and shoot big man out of the pick and pop. Also a threat in the pick and roll with good hands and the ability to finish around the basket, as well as be a facilitator when the help comes. Defensively he uses his length and athleticism at the rim to be a big time rim protector.
