As already identified by Prep Hoops Scout, Mike Roth, Antunez was one of the best all-around players at camp. His athleticism and agility on both ends of the court stood out and made him Team 5’s most threatening playmaker in addition to being one of its most capable defenders. His connection on back-to-back attempts from deep, however, peeled back another layer of his game that, when paired with his physical tools, makes for one of the most intriguing prospects in the class.

I have yet to lay eyes on Francisco but our Mike Roth said he was a standout at our Freshman expo last weekend and thinks Antunez will be one of the best players in this class. That’s good enough for me.

One of the most talented players at the camp, Antunez was flying around everywhere for his team. An explosive vertical athlete, Antunez had some monster blocked shots and rebounds that he had no business making a play. Antunez also got comfortable as the day progressed shooting the 3-pointer as he knocked down a handful in his teams second and third games of the five on five portion of the showcase. One of the top players at the showcase and looking like a top prospect in Kentucky’s 2030 class, Antunez will be a name to watch in our rankings when they release for this class.
