Team 1 at the Prep Hoops Georgia Sophomore ID Camp had a strong mix of young guard play, physical wings, and frontcourt upside. This group showed different ways to impact the floor, from downhill pressure and shot-making to defensive activity, glass work, open-floor pace, and length around the rim. Some prospects brought polish, others showed flashes that need more consistency, but the overall takeaway was clear: Team 1 had several 2029 names with tools worth tracking as their games continue to mature.

Kamani is a PG who gave Team 1 a tough downhill attacking presence. He is at his best when he is playing north and south, putting pressure on the rim, and forcing the defense to make decisions. The shot-making and three-ball flashes give him more than just a dribble penetrating attack label, and his ability to push in transition adds pace to his team. He does a good job running the show, showed multi-level scoring ability, and crafty creative skills that helped create offense for himself and his teammates. He showed he can be trusted when he gets into the paint as he can finish, spray it, or pull up. He does a good job creating advantages.

What gives him value is that he plays both ends and brings energy with his skill. He showed that does not have to dominate the ball to help his team because he can space the floor, read the defense, and connect possessions.
Jase is a combo guard who brought energy, pace, and scoring feel throughout the day. The ability to initiate the offense and the usage of his hesi move gives him a way to create advantages early in the offense, and the motor helps him impact more than just scoring possessions. When Jase plays with pace, is careful with his shot selection, does not rush or force action, reads the floor, and chooses the right scoring window, he has the tools to be a productive guard who makes winning plays.

Evan is a lead guard who gave his squad an unselfish slashing presence throughout the day. He showed court vision, the ability to initiate the offense, PG feel, and a willingness to play with others instead of forcing every touch. His value comes when he gets downhill, draws help, and makes the simple read, and when he is doing that he keeps the offense connected because he understands when to attack and when to move it. Once defenders have to respect both the drive and the shot, his playmaking ability will become even more valuable.

He showed that he does not need the offense built around him to help a team. He can be a possession winner by rebounding, defending, running the floor, and finishing what is created. Now he does have to continue expanding his offensive game and becoming a more consistent finisher through contact, but the motor, size, and defensive activity give him a strong foundation.

Victor is a physical wing with an inside the arc presence. He showed slashing value, made physical drives, had midrange flashes, and put-back activity on the glass. His game has a strength component to it, and when he uses his body to get downhill, he can create paint pressure and finish plays around the rim, as he often initiates contact that puts the defender at a disadvantage. Polishing his overall skill set, tightening his handle, making cleaner reads, and finding a more consistent touch away from the basket will help him to become an intriguing mismatch piece.

Alec is a versatile forward who showed a useful all-around floor game. He made threes, used shot fakes, got to the cup, and created paint touches. He did a good job recognizing moments to take advantage of for example his shooting opened up the drive which helped him to get downhill, and the downhill drive collapsed the defense and made the next pass available. He did a really good job in recognizing what situation was needed in the moment. Defensively, the vocal piece stood out because communication is a winning trait, and he was vocal throughout the day. As he keeps using his shooting gravity to attack closeouts, move the ball, and stay engaged defensively he can become a true productive two-way connector.

Ebenezer was, if not one, then the most impactful and productive players the entire day. His size and length created advantages throughout the entire day in which he consistently took advantage of. He established position, scored on the low block, got on the glass, finished above the rim, and showed he can put the ball on the floor and attack in the half-court. The defensive tools are real as he showed active hands, shot-blocking, and a chase down block that speaks to his mobility and effort. The upside of his game is closely tied to his overall skill detail. He has to keep improving his handle, finishing over both shoulders, and showing touch consistency in the paint. With his size, activity, and ability to impact both ends, Ebenezer has a strong foundation to build on.
