Evan is a lead guard who gave his squad an unselfish slashing presence throughout the day. He showed court vision, the ability to initiate the offense, PG feel, and a willingness to play with others instead of forcing every touch. His value comes when he gets downhill, draws help, and makes the simple read, and when he is doing that he keeps the offense connected because he understands when to attack and when to move it. Once defenders have to respect both the drive and the shot, his playmaking ability will become even more valuable.
