June is such an important month for high school basketball. For many players and teams it's the only time of year they get the ability to matchup against opposing teams with college coaches in attendance. Prospects relish the opportunity to compete in hopes of gaining college attention or media attention to elevate their status. But for some prospects, their attention could be under the radar due to multiple reasons and that's where this list comes in.

These are the Juniors I saw in June that are either flying under the radar of college programs, the media, or both.

[player_tooltip player_id='2507246' first='Quincee' last='Wilson'] - Kellis

One of the top athletes in the west valley is Wilson who is poised for a strong year running the show for the Kellis Cougars. Wilson is a strong defender who has the balance of speed and length to disrupt opposing players. He has a long wingspan to jump passing lanes and contest shots. He's a slasher on offense that attacks the rim with force and will rise up against contact. As a connector, he makes correct passes and is a strong playmaker for the position adding the threat on the wing for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='3150619' first='Jasiah' last='Lloyd'] - Carl Hayden

There's just certain things that go together, such as Peanut Butter and Jelly. For the AIA it's Carl Hayden and combo guards. Lloyd continues the trend of strong guard play for the Falcons as he has stepped into a larger role for the Falcons this year. He primarily operates off-ball as a combo guard but he runs the floor well and can step into that playmaking role when needed. He is a strong two-way player that uses his defensive chops to create easy transition baskets. Currently, he's a spark plug type of player that'll grow into a larger role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956216' first='Kingsley' last='Edwards'] - Canyon View

After waiting his turn, [player_tooltip player_id='1956216' first='Kingsley' last='Edwards'] has earned his way into a bigger role for a Canyon View team hoping for a strong jump into the 6A conference. Throughout the Summer, Edwards showcased his skills on both ends of the court. He used active hands to strip the ball away from opponents and was able to get transition layups. But his key skill was showcasing his knockdown shooing ability from deep. Multiple times in multiple events, Edwards would splash a three from the other zip code with no effort. He truly is a knockdown shooter with elite range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2506438' first='Isaac' last='Teasley'] - Sahuaro

One of the key pieces of the upcoming season is Teasley who'll play a large role this year for Sahuaro. The core group that helped the program reach new heights has mostly graduated. He's one of the most prolific scorers returning in the 4A conference. Whether it's knocking down shots with ease from deep or a stop-and-pop in the midrange or even a layup over contact at the rim, Teasley just knows how to score with ease. In the 4A conference he's one of the few true three level scorers and his bag will elevate a Sahuaro team that shouldn't take much of a step back this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689907' first='Matthew' last='McGadney'] - Arcadia

A prospect that could potentially see his stock rise in the next set of 2028 rankings is McGadney. Truly, his balance of positional size and skill makes him an intriguing player. At a legit 6'5", McGadney has the size to be successful at the next level as a larger combo guard. Add in the fact he'll carry a larger responsibility this year for Arcadia and he is flying under the radar. He plays unselfish and within the flow of the team. This allows him to keep things balanced and opens up chances for his teammates.

McGadney is a threat on the perimeter as a knockdown sniper in the catch-and-shoot game. A big reason for this is because he utilizes a high release point to get a clean look off. With his frame he uses his size to his advantage and is a matchup problem for opposing teams.
