New rankings mean new conversations. Here is what the Top 5 look like in July.

#1 [player_tooltip player_id='1724365' first='Crew' last='Fotheringham'] || Lone Peak

Fotheringham has been an absolute menace on both ends of the court this summer, and he has shown why he moved up into the #1 spot. With that inside/outside versatility, he can just be a threat all over the floor. Not only does he prove to be a threat, but he is also consistently hitting shot after shot all over the floor. This season coming up, he is going to be hard to stop as he has been getting to his spots.

#2 [player_tooltip player_id='2125357' first='Brennan' last='Blackett'] || Pleasant Grove

Blackett, although down one spot, is one of the best prospects in the class. He just got another offer from Long Beach State, and he will continue to get looks and offers through the rest of July. Blackett is that premier athlete who has the ability to be a lead ball handler, and with his size, he is among those guards who are just too hard to stop because of their positional size.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id='2022332' first='Mana' last='Winitana'] || Wasatch Academy

Winitana continues to rise in all aspects of the game as he has risen in the rankings, and he has also raised his game. He is one of the most poised players to play the PG position regardless of class. He is seeing the floor, and he is scoring the ball. Winitan can get downhill, and when he does, good things happen.

#4 [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] || Layton

Miller is probably the best scorer in the Top 5, and there is no reason why he should not lead the state in scoring this coming season. Miller has proven that he can score against some of the best players in the country. Miller will be a stud at the next level as he is only going to become more polished with time.

#5 [player_tooltip player_id='1724360' first='Ashton' last='Shewell'] || Lehi

Shewell is starting to really hit his stride on the basketball court. He is an athlete who can play above the rim, but he also shoots the ball extremely well. Shewell could be among the best rhythm scorers in the class when he gets it going. Shewell could end up being one of the steals in the class among the top-ranked players. Shewell is set to have a big year. He has been playing good basketball this summer.
