While McDowell is already a known name to basketball enthusiasts in North Louisiana, he significantly elevated his statewide stock over the weekend. He has taken a highly consistent path to development, returning to the court each year bigger, stronger, and more polished. He is a poised, mature athlete whose steady play and multiple double-digit scoring games thoroughly impressed scouts.       Watis put on a display of elite backcourt composure, handling intense defensive pressure and facilitating his team's offense at a high level. He remains incredibly calm with the ball in his hands, using a quick first step to break down defenders and get his feet into the paint. When defenses collapse to stop his drive, he proves equally dangerous pulling up to knock down open jump shots. He is easy to spot in a gym full of prospects making him one to watch heading into his senior campaign.     Patterson wasted no time making his presence felt, fitting seamlessly into the Madison Prep lineup and producing in every single game. He is an athletic guard who plays with a physical, brutish style that wears down opponents. Having refined his jump shot since last summer, he showed he can now score effectively at all three levels, which will surely boost his recruiting profile this season.
