Lucas Rich (5'10/G|F/'27/Wilson HS)

Lucas enters the summer as one of the most experienced and versatile players on the roster. Few players can claim experience at all five positions, but Rich has developed into the type of player who simply finds ways to impact winning regardless of where he is on the floor. His versatility gives Coach Krieger tremendous flexibility, allowing him to fill multiple roles depending on matchups and team needs. What stands out most about Rich is his toughness and competitive mindset. He plays with a winner's mentality and understands the little things that contribute to success.

Daymian Kirkman (6'3/C/'30/Wilson HS)

One of the most intriguing newcomers in the program is Daymian. At 6-foot-3, he already possesses the size and strength needed to make an immediate impact in the paint, and he has shown encouraging growth throughout the spring. He rebounds aggressively, embraces physical play, and provides a strong interior presence on both ends of the floor. What makes him especially exciting is how quickly his offensive game continues to develop.

Kellyn Churchwell (5'10/CG/'28/Wilson HS)

Kellyn may possess one of the highest athletic ceilings on the roster. Over the past year, he has transformed himself into a dynamic athlete with explosive speed, improved leaping ability, and the type of burst that immediately catches your attention. His athleticism allows him to impact the game in transition, attack defenders off the bounce, and create energy plays that can swing momentum.

Max Hudson (G/'27/Wilson HS)

Max is a player who embodies toughness and fearlessness. Despite battling injuries throughout his career, he continues to compete with an energy level that rarely fluctuates. His motor is one of the best on the roster, and he consistently brings intensity every time he steps on the floor.Defensively, he has the ability to guard in space and make life difficult for opposing ball handlers.

Brody Shook, Jr. (G/'28/Wilson HS)

When it comes to pure speed, few players in North Alabama can match Brody. His ability to get from end to end creates immediate pressure on opposing defenses, particularly in transition where he can completely change the pace of a game. Once he gets downhill with space, he becomes extremely difficult to contain. While he has not logged extensive varsity minutes yet, this summer will provide valuable opportunities for growth.

What Should We Expect From Wilson During the Month of June?

Expect a team that defends. Defense has become the foundation of Wilson's identity under Coach Krieger, and that won't change despite the roster turnover. Wilson pride themselves on being multiple defensively, capable of adjusting schemes and matchups depending on personnel and opponents. Last season's group was undersized and often relied heavily on zone concepts, but this year's roster presents new possibilities as the coaching staff evaluates strengths and determines the best approach moving forward. Offensively, Wilson embraces modern basketball principles.

What Coach Corey Krieger Wants to See During the Month of June:

For Coach Krieger, summer basketball isn't about wins and losses. It's about discovery. Replacing all five starters means every practice and every game becomes an opportunity to evaluate new combinations, expanded roles, and emerging leaders. The coaching staff will be closely monitoring which players embrace challenges, compete consistently, and show the willingness to put team success first. By the end of June, Coach Krieger hopes to have a clearer picture of how the pieces fit together. If the coaching staff can successfully identify their leaders, maintain their defensive edge, and continue developing their young talent, this summer could serve as the foundation for another successful season ahead.
