The Spring always brings forward new prospects we haven't seen before. Throughout the Spring season PH NorCal has a Watch List of prospects who are now on the radar. We'll keep an eye on going forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='3172969' first='Tristan' last='Beechler']: Listed as a 6'5 PG, transferred from the Central Valley didn't play last season. He's playing with Lakeshow 16U 3SSB. He'll be a contributor at Lincoln of Stockton this season. A good size prospect plays hard and aggressive with guard skills. He has the ability to effect the game with ball in hand. He goes hard and strong to the basket attacking from different angles looking to finish around the rim in traffic. Has the court vision can get the assist, dish, dump, or lob it to a big. He'll help rebound, plays hard on the defensive side of the ball. We'll see more.

[player_tooltip player_id='3631818' first='Jordan' last='Cortez']: He's long, active has good movement on the court. He averaged 14.7pt, 7.4r with his HS team. He's a ball mover, makes good passes around the perimeter, and high post, makes cuts to the basket. He has length, and footspeed to be disruptive pressuring the inbound pass, up top and full court pressing and trapping.

Ghandhi Conde: A versatile prospect plays good all around basketball at the 16U level. Standing around 6'3 he has good effort going for rebounds on both ends, he'll get putback points powering up in traffic. He finishes strong in transition, uses hard dribbles from the perimeter to get to the basket, can score in traffic. He has lift on the mid-range, will shoot open 3's. He's strong, aggressive, defends with effort.

Jordan Boyce: He's a big body, strong, has the tools to be a factor in the post area at the HS level. He'll have to trim down a bit, get better conditioned, nevertheless he gives effort, doesn't mind mixing it up inside. He's still learning how to take advantage of his size and strength in the post. With improved footwork, and patience he can be a target on the low block. He's got good feet, can score and rebound in traffic. A high post passer, sets hard to get around screens.

Bryn Cooper: A good size prospect list as a 6'3 shooting guard, he'll square up, take his open 3's, he's got a couple of dribble drive moves he can make to create his shot opportunities, has some finishing moves in transition. He has footspeed to defend on the perimeter, and size to defend bigger players in the post area. Averaged almost 10ppg with his high school team.

[player_tooltip player_id='3649029' first='Rocco' last='Smith']: A combo guard with good ball handling and passing. He knows how to run point, but works mostly off ball looking to create scoring opportunities with his HS team. He averaged 13.3ppg with 3 assist during the season. He's got a few moves he can make to get defenders off balance, get his shot off over bigs in the paint, floaters, inside hand, quick paint jumper. He's a 3-point shooter with range. Has movement without the ball, gets his feet right, uses of his screens. He's shot ready along the perimeter, can hit transition 3's.

Leo Romano: He's a 6'6 facilitator, that makes him a point guard/forward. He handles the ball often for his high school team, brings the all up court, sets the offense. He handles ball pressure using his body, he has court vision and size to see over any trouble coming towards him. Not fast but can dribble with balance forcing his way into the paint to score. He makes strong passes around the perimeter. He'll post up every now and then for an inside bucket. He'll get his fair share of rebounds. He's active, talks, defend and helps in the post.

Timothy Scheel: He averaged 11.6pts, 7.5 rebounds with his high school team. He has effort, with improving fundamentals, footwork and movement. He's in the process of polishing up his post skills. You can go to him in the post, he's a target coming across the low block, gets wide, doesn't waste time turning and going up. He's high post passer, will step out to set screens for guard. He'll use a couple of dribbles then hand off along the perimeter freeing up guard to go to the basket. Standing 6'9 makes him one our tallest prospects in NorCal. He's got work to do but deserve a look. Late bloomer maybe
