On Sunday at the West Suburban Sports Complex there were many notable performances. Many of these came from the 17U scene rather that being bigs who dominated games inside or Guards that were automatic from outside. These five players stood out and showed out.

Amari had a great Weekend highlighted by his performance on Sunday against the All IN 17U Mitchem team. Common Bond dominated this game and he led the way. From the beginning of the game he made his presence known with great on-ball pressure and never letting the offense get comfortable. On the offensive end he ran the show for the Common Bond squad. He set up his teammates for easy buckets with great vision. He also played very physical going to the rim and was a threat from outside. He had 19 in the first half and finished the game with 22.

Over the Weekend at Prep Hoops Live Nathan made a name for himself while playing for Indiana Reign Supreme 17U. At 6'3 he's got a solid frame and knows how to use it. He pairs that up with great athleticism and an elite standing vertical. He put that vertical on display against BIG 3 Basketball with multiple blocks that most players would not be able to get to. He has a soft touch around the rim and terrorized BIG3 on the boards. Nathan is a double double machine and can make you pay if you leave him open on the perimeter.

Armany was playing up with the [program_tooltip program_id='2810653' first='Crossover' last='Basketball'] 17U team and he held his own to say the least. Armany is a shooter first, but is very capable of being a versatile player on the court. He has a very quick release and put that on display with 3 3's against Gods Gift 17U. Whenever the defense would overplay him he would get an easy drive-by with his downhill speed. On top of that he was always the first on the ground for a loose ball and even took a charge. Something else that I noticed about Armany is how good of a leader he is. He was always talking to his teammates in between plays to get on the same page. A selfless leader with a high basketball IQ.

De'marion is a 2026 prospect that some colleges should take a second look at. De'marion was a physical force down low against Illinois Outwork 17U. He showed this time and time again with four different and 1's. De'marion has a bulky frame and some bounce to go with it as he got a steal and threw one down on a fast-break. Anywhere within 10 feet is automatic for De'marion with his soft touch and physicality. A force to be reckoning with for IL Prestige Elite.

Ian put on a show behind-the-arc for BIG3 basketball at Prep Hoops Live. One of the best shooters that I saw this weekend. Rather it was a spot up 3 or a pull up mid range Ian had it going. Against Indiana Reign Supreme he put in 4 3's and a couple mid-range buckets as well. He pairs his shooting ability with a high basketball IQ that makes him a serious threat on the offensive end. A name to look out for going forward.
