<p>The Day 2 games did not disappoint. Close games, overtime thrillers and elite performances all throughout. Great way to cap off an excellent weekend for all these players. Here are some players that played great on Day 2. </p>

<p>Merrill is a do-it-all type of player. He scores at all three levels, is impactful on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder. Merrill has a quick release that allows him to get off his shot in a variety of situations. He is a very efficient shooter who has deep range. The 2031 guard/forward is very unselfish and shows strong playmaking skills. Merrill stands out for his motor and hustle on the court. He is constantly in passing lanes and sprinting back to get in plays. </p>

<p>Kaner has a super smooth release and can knock down shots from deep. He is a very efficient scorer from anywhere on the floor. On his drives, Kaner has soft touch on his floaters. The lefty helps spread out the defense, forcing his opponents to always know where he is. </p>

<p>Nelson is an excellent two-way player. Defensively, he shuts down opposing players and gets tons of steals. He is quick laterally allowing him to stay in front of the offense. Offensively, Nelson is highly effective at attacking the rim. On his drives he can either finish through contact or make excellent reads to find his teammates for open looks. </p>

<p>Isaiah Fields (2031) | F | Indiana Game 13U - 1</p>

<p>Fields is a strong and physical forward. He is a force down low for Indiana Game is a huge part in the team's success. Fields is a strong left handed driver and finisher, using his strength to power through defenders. The 2031 forward is super active on the offensive boards, helping earn extra possessions for his team. Fields showcased a little bit of his handles when taking it coast to coast off a defensive rebound. </p>

<p>Orion Combs (2031) | G | Indiana Game 13U - 1</p>

<p>Combs is a super impressive combo guard. He has great court vision and strong playmaking ability - something you want at that position. Combs is tough to defend because of his scoring versatility like finishing through contact at the rim, mid range pull ups, and stepback threes. Defensively, he gets tons of steals in the passing lanes showcasing his instincts and feel for the game. </p>

<p>Charlie Johnson (2031) | G | Indiana Game 13U - 1</p>

<p>Johnson is a lights out shooter. He has sound form on his jumpshot and is great off the catch and shoot. When ran off the line, Johnson can finish inside with either hand and displayed a nice scoop layup to score through defenders. He also showcased a nice handle that allows him to bring the ball up the floor in close games situations. </p>

<p>Johnson's change of pace with the ball is super impressive. He is able to break down his defenders and get downhill. Johnson excels at getting to the rim where he uses euro steps and crafty finishes to get points. The 2031 guard is also a good shooter from beyond the arc, spacing the floor for his team. </p>
