Berning was an intriguing prospect for Court 45 as they took on a very solid Wisconsin Academy -Riley squad. Ben, who saw sometime as a sophomore at West Delaware HS in Iowa, showcased his unique abilities to score the basketball in a variety of ways. Berning scored at all three levels using his fundamental footwork, strength, and overall ability to knock down triples from deep. Berning finished with 15 points in the game, while doing the little things for his squad and competing on the defensive end.
