<p>The MICDS Rams won their second state championship in impressive fashion this weekend. The Rams defeated Hillcrest 62-35 in the semifinals, the followed up with a 55-38 victory over Sikeston in the championship game. Hillcrest defeated Raytown South in the third-place game.</p>

<p>The 6'4" 2027 forward concluded a stellar season with two strong games in the Final Four to lead the Rams to the state title. He averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the Final Four. He had 25 points, four rebounds and five assists in the semifinals against Hillcrest and 18 points and seven rebounds in the championship game against Sikeston.</p>

He averaged 14.5 points in the Final Four. He had 14 points and four rebounds against Hillcrest and 15 points, two rebounds and two assists against Sikeston in the championship game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1789998' first='Marquel' last='Murray'] (Sikeston): The athletic 6'4" 2026 guard was excellent all season and helped lead Sikeston to a runner up finish. He averaged 14 points and four rebounds in the Final Four. He had a game-high 18 points, three rebounds and three steals in the semifinals against Raytown South.</p>

He averaged 16.5 points and four assists in the two Final Four games. He had 19 points and five assists in the victory over Raytown South in the third-place game.</p>

He averaged eight points and five rebounds while also handling the ball and playing excellent defense throughout the weekend. He had 12 points, four rebounds and two assists in the championship game.</p>

He had 12 rebounds in the semifinals against Hillcrest and six rebounds and two blocks against Sikeston in the championship game.</p>
