Let us dive on in and take a look at a few highlights of Tuesday's night of hoops.<br><br><strong>Indianapolis City Tournament Results</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After a few delays, we finally were able to crown an Indianapolis City Tournament Champion on Tuesday night. After 20 points by Detroit Mercy signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']., Cathedral was the big winner defeating Scecina 65-58. Julian Smith also added 11 points for Cathedral, as well. The Irish improved to 13-3 on the year and have won their last 6. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Homestead bounces back</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Homestead Spartans have had a rocky last few games but bounced in a big way last night. In a 58-54 win against a good New Haven team, Homestead improved to 11-5 on the season. On the New Haven side, they were led by Tarvar Baskerville with 20 points. Homestead will have Fort Wayne Northrop on Friday looking to build more momentum. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Portage improves to 15-0</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are very few undefeated teams still left this season and one of those teams is the Portage Indiana. After defeating Griffith 96-71, The Indians improved to 15-0 on the year. To help the undefeated streak continue, Portage was led by [player_tooltip player_id='2141030' first='Karter' last='Kobe'] with arguably the most impressive performance of the night with 34 points. Portage will look to improve to 16-0 when they face Michigan City on Friday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
