The previews continue and the basketball season is under way in the way of practices and even scrimmages, it is time to get to each class' All-State teams.
As we continue our All-State previews we look at the 3A class, we have last season's Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Louisiana returning and a high powered team that brings an abundance of talent moving into the class. School size is shrinking but 3A has some unbelievable talent.
MVP: Wayde Sims; Senior F; University Lab
Last season's Gatorade Player of the Year and LSU commit Wayde Sims is six foot seven and likely the toughest player to defend in the state. He can play inside and out, is equally adept at scoring with each hand, and has the ball handling ability to beat most defenders off the dribble. Sims is extremely athletic and a quick twitch athlete that can put up highlights in a heartbeat. This season's version of UHigh will feature him more than ever and most likely lend to a repeat award winner.
