From efficient scoring outings to versatile all-around contributions, these players made an immediate impact in Monday and Tuesday's matchups. Here's a look at the early-week standouts.    Connor continues to prove why he's one of the top players this state has to offer, delivering a dominant two-way performance to open the week. He made a tremendous impact on both ends of the floor, controlling the paint, cleaning the glass, and scoring at will. He recorded 34 points and 25 rebounds in a win over Wesleyan.     Williams continues to showcase his versatility on both ends. He excels in transition, using his length and stride to put pressure on the defense while also finding teammates as he collapses defenders off the drive. Defensively, his wingspan allows him to be a real presence, disrupting passing lanes and contesting shots. A well-rounded prospect trending upward.     Payne is a gifted shooter who builds everything off his clean mechanics and effortless range. Defenders must close out aggressively, and he consistently takes advantage, attacking gaps and making strong decisions downhill. Rebounds his position well and can guard multiple spots. His performance this week of 21 points, 5/5 from three vs. Myers Park, underscores his growing impact as a perimeter threat.     Smith delivered one of the week's strongest all-around outings. He gets downhill with purpose and finishes with either hand, while also showing high-level vision as a passer. His jumper remains a consistent weapon, and he was a force on the boards. Posted 24 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds vs. Myers Park, highlighting his versatility and efficiency.     Henderson is a long, skilled 6'8 wing who stretches the floor and brings real matchup problems. Knocked down multiple threes against West Stokes and showed comfort scoring with both hands around the basket. Rebounded well and provided rim protection with multiple blocks. A high-upside forward with inside-out versatility.     Anderson was a physical anchor inside, imposing his will on the glass and around the rim. Shows impressive footwork and patience on the block, consistently carving out deep position and finishing through contact. Defensively, he plays with discipline, getting vertical and altering shots without fouling. A steady, reliable interior presence.     Wilkerson is a shifty, creative guard who lives in the paint. Consistently split traps/ball screens and defensive gaps to get downhill and finish. Plays with confidence, and his jumper keeps defenders honest. A guard you can trust to initiate offense and create advantages.
