Class AA hoops officially tipped off its preseason with practices beginning on Monday, and the energy across the Eastern Dakota Conference is already buzzing. Coaches are conducting tryouts, making tough cuts, and evaluating rotations, while players battle for roles, and fan bases are hyped with early optimism. The EDC always delivers exciting talent, intense rivalries, and packed gyms — and this season feels like no exception.
With anticipation building and storylines beginning to take shape, Prep Hoops Dakotas is proud to roll out its Preseason All-EDC Team — highlighting the players expected to make the biggest impact this winter. From dynamic scorers to floor generals to defensive disruptors, star athletes, stat stuffers, dominant posts, and sharpshooters, this list recognizes the hoopers poised to set the tone in the Eastern Dakota Conference.
Let's take a look at the names that will headline the EDC when the lights come on and the ball goes up.
This is a very talented group, make sure you get out and see them hoop live this winter!
