No better way to make an impression and jump into the rankings than with not just one, but two 40-point performances. Miller has caught our attention, and we will be tracking how teams look to stop him, but also how he responds and adjusts as teams make adjustments to him. He shoots the ball well, and the fact that he defends well helps him create instant offense.

Rolando Anguiano, Green River

We're staying in the small school divisions, as Anguiano has quickly made an impact, posting multiple 20-point performances. He's done it by hitting the three-ball, tallying 9 in two games. His high scoring has Green River at 2-0, including a big win over a strong North Sevier team.

Hoenigman is putting up consistent numbers, and he is doing it against solid competition. I really like the Syracuse schedule, as they are challenging themselves across the board. This kind of schedule will help them make strides in battling a challenging Region 1. Hoenigman has been impressive over the years as he has improved his game, and this year, he looks sharp, not settling for 3s.

Dylan Hatton, Mountain Ridge

Mountain Ridge is a team that may not be getting a lot of hype, but they are good, and with a mixture of length and shooters, a player like Hatton could really benefit. He can get downhill, sees the floor well, and does a great job distributing the ball. He had a great week.

Hansen enters his senior year, and he looks locked in. He could average 4 three-pointers a game and is likely on his way to 1,000 points in his career. Scouts believe Hansen is a next-level player and should be getting looks from D2 and NJCAA programs. He can handle the ball as a lead guard and shoot, but he is also valuable off the ball because he can catch and shoot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844504' first='Benson' last='Turcsanski'], Granger

It's been a while since Granger has had a player turn some heads, but that's what you'll get from Benson. He's played 3 games and is averaging 4 three-pointers a game, holding steady with some of the big names in the state. He's a new name we will keep an eye on.
