With the season starting very soon, I am going to predict how each conference is going to end up finishing. This will be based on last years standings, returning players, and how who/how many each team lost. Here we will start with some of the 1A conferences. The teams are listed in the order I believe they will finish.

Caribou Trail:

Chelan - losing 4 seniors but have key pieces returning in [player_tooltip player_id='2021625' first='Luca' last='Faletto'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140862' first='Tev' last='Uttech'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2548217' first='Trevor' last='Faletto']. They should win the conference and be a problem in the state tournament.

Omak - losing 5 seniors but have a plethora of guards coming back who could make an impact (Braydon Ruiz, Mason Fletcher, Jaxon Wells). Big man Landan-Kitchen Bagby will be back to be a force down low.

Casecade (Leavenworth) - losing 5 seniors, still a young/undersized team going into the season.

ESC Chinook:

Kings - losing 0 players from last year is going to really help the defending conference champs. [player_tooltip player_id='2956624' first='Dozie' last='Asinobi'], Cole Adams, & Andrew Gerbig will all be returning ready to have Kings be a 1A state title contender.

Overlake - losing 4 seniors but have experienced players returning to the court and could help the team make a push. [player_tooltip player_id='2545231' first='Derek' last='Li'] and Hank Davidson are some players to keep an eye on.

Bear Creek - losing 4 seniors and Caleb Branch, who transferred to a school in OR. They could see a little dip due to others needs to step up and replace key players. Noah Luedke and [player_tooltip player_id='2878380' first='James' last='Whitlock'] are some guys to know.

Cedar Park Christian - losing 0 players from last year. CPC was only 3 games back from 4th in the conference and with players coming back who can make a big impact. Eddy Aguiar and Judah Delgadillo are some players to know.

Bush - losing 5 seniors and Zane Zillax, who is transferring to SAAS in the Metro. They will be a new-look team next season, keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='2258130' first='Ace' last='Ederer'] during the season.

Northwest - losing 7 seniors and [player_tooltip player_id='2548216' first='Shy' last='Shah'], who is transferring to Edmonds Woodway. They'll be a young squad but Griffin O'Connor and Sameer Ahmed are some players to keep an eye on.

Eastside Prep - losing 5 seniors and is a young team as we head into the season.

ESC Coho:

South Whidbey - losing 4 seniors from last season. Cameron Pankau-McGill is the only current senior on the roster this year so the young team will continue to gel nicely together. Keep an eye on Drew Statts and Levi Dixon.

University Prep - losing 6 seniors but were very close with Granite Falls last season. I think their young group will put together a good season with Sol Starin and Dyon Williams being names to see.

Granite Falls - losing 5 seniors but should put together a competitive team for the conference. Parker Kern and Israel Aparcito are some guys to know.

Summit Sierra - I know they are a young squad but can not find an official roster.

Evergreen 1A:

Montesano - losing 1 senior. With only 1 senior leaving after last season, the defending champs should repeat as conference champs. Jayvin Painter and Nathan Dowler are seniors to be to keep an eye on.

Elma - losing 5 seniors. Despite having the best overall record last year in the conference they lost some key conference games so they finished 3rd. Isaac McGaffery, Trayton Webb, and Dylan Myer are a few players to keep an eye on.

Tenino - losing 6 seniors. Despite a 10-14 overall record last year, Tenino fought through some hard conference games to almost take the title. They will be a new look team this year with Owen Whittaker and Jeremiah McKague players to watch.

Hoquiam - losing 3 seniors. They are a young group coming into this season but should see good strides as the season goes on. Ryan Pullar is a name to know.

Rochester - losing 6 seniors. They are a rebuilding program with a young core. Stanton Smith, 6'6" wing/post is a player on the rise.

Northeast 1A:

Riverside - losing 4 seniors. They were a great overall team last year, being able to high level defense and beat their in-conference teams with ease. Justin Gaffany, 6'5" wing is a guy who can lead the team to another solid run.

Lakeside (9 Mile) - losing 2 seniors. Lakeside is a team that I believe will close the gap quickly with Riverside, maybe even being able to win the conference. Blake Hanson and Clay Hanson will be back to help lead the squad. They could surprise people.

Medical Lake - losing 5 seniors. They are a young group, losing some key pieces from last year. They had a good overall season, but struggled with in conference games. We will see how they do this season.

Colville - losing 3 seniors. Colville will have a lot of seniors this upcoming year, which will help them with experience on the court. Jet Bateman is a player to keep an eye on for the season.
