We begin in the middle of November, however there were quite a few new, and standout prospects from what has become a regular season (October to September) Fall Ball basketball about 6 weeks of playing with your high school team under a club name for reasons we don't yet understand, nevertheless we have the regular season of Fall Ball in NorCal that's a good thing. Looking back here are some prospects who can have impact this upcoming season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2517130' first='Miles' last='Woods'] 6'5 F, St Mary's HS Albany: Good size, square shoulders with an improving skill set. He'll take his game to another level when he figures out how to use his body. He's a rebounder will get put back points on the offense. He'll move and cut finish around the basket. He gives good effort defending his position. <br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='2094259' first='Shawn' last='Boquiren'] 5'8 2026 G from St Ignatius HS, SF: Only 5'9 he's been a reliable combo guard. Quality ball handling, vision sees the court and patience keeping dribble live up top. He has a burst that will get him into the paint for floaters, paint jumpers and assists. He'll knock down open 3's. Takes and makes good shots <br><br><strong>Kingston High </strong>5'10 2026 G from Oakland Tech: A strong guard with a solid body, has foot speed, lateral movements and upper body strength to apply pressure trapping in full court situations. Decent handles, takes the contact to finish strong around the basket. Plays hard will get good minutes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2517143' first='Machai' last='Alston'] 6'1 2026 G from Ygnacio Valley HS: He's a fast speedy, guard going up court in transition. A good ball handler who can blow by, or use crossovers on the dribble drive to get by defenders into the paint for kick-outs, and layups. He's a willing passer. He's an experienced guard with playmaking abilities. His foot speed, lateral movement, can cause problems on defense, he recovers quick. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2879152' first='Jon' last='MacLeod'] 6'4 2027 F/W from Acalanes HS: He's working a bit under the radar on this experienced team expected to do well this season. He has good size at 6'4, he's active on the defensive side, going for rebounds, and working hard to defend from perimeter to paint with decent foot work. He's a mover and a cutter, will make the extra pass, he cuts and moves well around the perimeter. He races up court to fill lanes, can use a dribble or two to get into the paint, has 3-point range. We'll see more of the newcomer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2872354' first='Eli' last='Pace'] 6'3 2026 F/W from Amador Valley: Underrated defender, faster, and stronger than he looks. He's willing to mix it up going for rebounds, and loose balls. He'll handle on occasion, but usually works off ball running around the perimeter, making hard cuts to the basket, setting up around the high post looking to find cutters and shooters. He doesn't have to score to be a contributor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ryan Seto </strong>6'3 2026 SG from Cornerstone Christian Antioch: He's long wiry, has foot speed running up court. He's a threat to drop 3's around the perimeter, moving to open spots. He gets wide in transition, runs to the corner looking to spot up 3-pointers, he'll feed the post, or find cutters, doesn't waste dribbles, makes the extra pass. He's an alert defender, helps off ball, has foot speed and lateral movement to stay close.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zaire Albert 6'0 2026 G from Fremont, Oakland: He has a solid body, has good movement without the ball, sets solid screens. He has strong dribbles on the drive, challenges shot blockers going in for layups, he'll dish for assists. He gets good lift on the paint jumper. Standing 6'0 as a strong body guard, he'll post up, and get rebounds. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1703107' first='DJ' last='Armstrong'] 6'3 2026 G/F/W from Archbishop Riordan: An experienced prospect, can do different things, doesn't need to score to be a contributor. He's a solid body can defend multiple positions, has foot speed, lateral movement, he boxes out before going after rebounds. He has guard skills can handle and pass, deal with ball pressure. He plays on balance, makes good use of his body. He'll cut and finish around the basket, drive hard for layups. He'll be a contributor on one of NorCal's top programs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jeremiah Opulencia </strong>6'6 2026 F from San Lorenzo: He's a newcomer, a football player. He'll add size and post play when he gets into basketball shape. His rebounding and defending will help, it gives this team a post presence. Offensively he'll be a target with more post development. He did post up, and work from the short corner. We'll see more.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Raimone Dempsey </strong>6'4 2026 G/F/W from Tennyson HS: A newcomer, long and wiry transferred in from Irvington. He has a long reach to rebound, and finish around the rim. He used his dribble and a eurostep to avoid contact, for finishes. He'll rebound and come out with the dribble, make the long pass up court. He did some handling up top, made a few moves to get his shot off in the paint. He'll shoot open 3's if left unattended. We'll see more.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
