Much like Bates from Evansville Christian, Tyson is a smooth floor general that can get going in a hurry. Has the ability to score from all over the floor. Really good shooter off the catch. Plays under control and drives close outs with his head up ready to score or dish it to teammates. Quick first step that once he gets in the paint he’s able to score in a variety of different ways. One of four players being featured as a standout this week from Heritage Hills, the improvement that Tyson has made since I first saw him back in June is astonishing. Smooth combo guard with a tight handle was getting downhill to his spot and was able to create for himself as well as others. Finished around the basket in crafty ways. Slight frame but handled contact well and played under control. Was aggressive early one in game 1 looking for his own shot and shot the ball from the perimeter with lots of confidence. Will be a nice depth piece this season for the Patriots.
