As more and more prospects go off of the board and the high school season draws nearer it is time to run back a recurring series here at Prep Hoops Indiana where we highlight some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position. These are players that definitely can play at the college level, and many of them have interest already, but remain uncommitted at this time. Here are six guards that college coaches need to have eyes on heading into the Indiana High School Basketball season.

Craney is a do-it-all wing/forward at Perry Central High School. He is skilled and confident with the ball in his hands creating mismatches for bigger defenders on the perimeter. However, he also is very comfortable using his size at 6'6" to dominate smaller defenders around the basket. That offensive versatility, which translates to the defensive end as well, makes him a very intriguing prospect. It will be interesting to see where Craney lands.

Shooting never goes out of style and that is what Flanagan brings to the table. He is one of the best unde-the-radar catch-and-shoot threats in Indiana's Class of 2026. Flanagan finished the summer by shooting 19-31 from three-point range at Prep Hoops Nationals. He has garnered some Division III interest leading into his senior season and should continue to be sought after from any program that really needs a shooting threat.

This 6'4" athletic wing from Ben Davis High School became a critical rotation piece for the Giants last season and played his way into the starting lineup. He averaged 4.8 points per game and should be poised to step into a larger role this season. Coming off of a good summer, and some recent strong showings at college elite camps, Minor has a good deal of small college attention. Look for that to continue into this season. Being a multi-year contributor at Ben Davis is a good sign that transitioning to the next level won't be an issue.

This 6'4" wing will cap off an excellent career at Shelbyville High School this season. He averaged 14.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game last season utilizing his impressive size and athleticism to create matchup problems. Nicholson handles the ball well enough to go coast-to-coast on the break and create his own scoring opportunities in the half court as a driver. There is some positional versatility to move up to a forward spot as needed at the next level as well.

Hamilton Southeastern High School has a loaded senior class this season. There will be several college players in that group with one of them having already committed to Division II Emporia State. Osswald is a long, versatile, left-handed wing that averaged 8.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season. He had a big summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Black and should continue to see his recruitment pick up among small college programs.

Overton played well enough over the summer, both in AAU and with Evansville Mater Dei at the Charlie Hughes Showcase, to catch the attention of some small college programs. However, having played a limited role at Reitz as a junior, he is still an unknown to some. The 6'6" wing has excellent size and length on the perimeter which leads to consistent matchup problems for opposing defenses. Whether he is beating bigger defenders off of the bounce or using his length to score over smaller defenders, Overton does a great job of attacking those mismatches. He is a high-upside prospect.
