With 293 players, there is bound to be some new talent that was eventually going to be discovered.

There were 34 new players and here are some of the standouts that are not top-10 for position but are very good players in their own right.

Here are 7 newcomers from the last six months that are off the radar: (Including 3 small school standouts)

[player_tooltip player_id='2949458' first='Philip' last='Johnson Jr'] LFPA

A bigger lead guard has the savvy, feel and pace to play the point guard role but the size and skill to play off of it. He plays at his own pace and makes players around him better with advanced court vision but he can score it with downhill drives and jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2513390' first='Barron' last='Rygiel'] Boulder Creek

A face-up forward can play both positions up front. He has the size and skill to bang inside and score with put backs and rebounds well. He also has the touch to the three point line and will rip thru and go to work. He has a stronger frame to handle the pounding inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2746700' first='Carter' last='Glass'] Sandra Day O'Connor (Pictured)

A highly skilled guard can play on or off the ball and he will shoot it with the best of them in the junior class. He is best off the catch from the three point line but he can pull-up off the dribble. He will move the ball and make the right play and he may get more and more PT on varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2891695' first='Jayden' last='Bebout-Vega'] Tempe Prep

Another small school top player is strong, brings toughness to the court along with size and skill. He is not afraid to mix it up inside versus bigger players, he sets strong picks, he rebounds at a good clip and he will score it from elbow and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2892770' first='Seth' last='Thompson'] Camp Verde

The third small school standout is Thompson. He has some size and the off guard will make plays plus light up the scoreboard. He shoots it easily from the three point line with some range off the dribble or catch and he can get a step on his defender to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2849913' first='Jonathan' last='Tanori'] Estrella Foothills

A wing is your classic point forward type with an advanced feel for the game. He has next level court vision and he smartly changes speeds to get himself to the basket. He will also shoot the ball from the three point line and he may be one of the breakout players of 4A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434482' first='Steven' last='Castro-Ryan'] Ironwood

An undersized tough and gritty defensive point guard. He will get a lot of early action the first nine games with their potential starter sitting out. He handles pressure at a high level with his tighter handle and real speed with the ball. He can simply break presses by himself and he will defend and score.

With 293 players, there is bound to be some new talent that was eventually going to be discovered.
