The month of September I spent 3-4 nights at the AZ Compass Fall League. It is a nice combination of some top AIA teams combined with some of the best prep schools in Arizona.

Here were some of the Newcomer Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id='2205721' first='Logan' last='Wallace'] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

A face-up player who will shoot the three off the catch with a nice stroke. He can rip thru to score and has good patience in the post. He truly makes his money with his athleticism inside to block or alter shots plus runs the floor. He rebounds the ball at a high level and his timing is impeccable using his size, length and bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966962' first='Settimo' last='Yugo'] Bella Vista Prep NSPA

A long newcomer caught my eye both games I viewed him. He is extremely fluid and runs like a wing. He will score with face-up jumpers, offensive rebound put backs, dunks and his ability to move really well in space keeps him in the game to defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2370259' first='Terry' last='McKinney III'] Millennium

A bigger wing forward moves in from Nevada and brings even more talent to the 6A team. He can face-up from the perimeter but loves getting to the basket with spin moves into a layup or dunk with either hand. He will score with offensive rebound put backs and rebounds the ball on both sides of the ball at a good clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='2867326' first='Iker' last='Martinez'] AZ Compass Prep

A big man with elite size and a strong frame who moves well from end to end. He sets strong picks, he is a big time rebounder in and out of his area and will score it near the basket. He will give the EYBL team extra possessions and be a great bench player with size.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561108' first='Braylen' last='Langley'] Skyline Prep

A lefty forward is a smooth shooter off the catch from the three point line. He will block shots, runs the floor fluidly and score with offensive rebound put backs and boxes out his man like you should. He is a high level dunker on tip-ins. He is a little lean but highly skilled and athletic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966959' first='Jean' last='Victor Ndiaye'] Bella Vista Prep

A very tall and long post player. He is very fluid from end to end and he is your classic rim runner. He will finish off plays with dunks and even throw it down on someone. He will rebound out of his area and block shots in bunches. He has great body control in the lane and can face up a little to the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115124' first='DJ' last='Childs'] Phhoenix Prep

One of the tougher glue guys out there of maybe any prep team. He plays extremely hard and almost seeks contact in the paint. He will grab rebounds in and out of his area with a big time motor. He will score with hook shots, tough layups in traffic and make the occasional perimeter jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2809343' first='Corbin' last='Taylor'] Phhoenix Prep

A good sized face-up power forward from Texas who rebounds well out of his area. He will score with offensive rebound put backs, fall away from mid-range, threes off the catch and dribble drives to the basket. His upside is high with his size and skill.
