is a winner! Coming out of a small town in Turkey, Texas, Taylor emerges as the 3rd ranked power forward in the state after leading his school to their first ever state title where he also left with the Championship MVP honor. He’s proven to be one of the most versatile and skilled bigs in the game, capable of changing the game with his rebounding or shot making at all three levels within the flow of the game. Watching Taylor is an experience, and his impact on the game can be seen and felt this summer on the EYBL Circuit for Houston Hoops, major player here to keep track of.

was in full domination mode, controlling the paint on both ends of the floor. He protected the rim with authority, swatting shots and altering attempts around the basket, while imposing his will on the glass. Offensively, Taylor bullied defenders down low, converting powerful putback dunks and finishing through contact with physical drop steps on the block. Taylor looked like a man amongst boys, completely taking over the interior as he powered his way to 18 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

A skilled freshman with a rare blend of size, skill, and versatility, Taylor made an impact on both ends of the floor. He established deep post position early, making it easy for guards to find him with entry passes. His ability to seal off defenders created clear scoring opportunities, whether on drop-offs or lobs. Around the rim, he utilized his length to finish over defenders with touch, while also serving as a high-post threat who could score, facilitate, and control the game from the elbow. Defensively, his shot-blocking ability was evident from the start, using his height, wingspan, and timing to alter and reject shots.
