Missouri/Kansas Freshman Showcase: Team 2 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 Freshman Showcase for Missouri and Kansas took place on Sunday this past weekend at North Kansas City High School. There were 3 roster teams overall with 29 freshmen to fill them. Here are my evaluations for team#2. Jaxton is ambidextrous and is comfortable shooting with either hand from a distance. He'd be good for a coach that likes to draw plays up or has an offense that keeps their players in constant motion. The reason for that is, he is a surprisingly accurate shooter despite his size. He's a decent communicator on offense, and he has at PG the ability to post-up in mismatches. Jayden's tween dribble attack towards the basket is pretty solid and doesn't have too much wasted motion in it. His shooting form is a little rough to start, but his follow-through on the finish of his shot is textbook. He was the most vocal of note of all the freshmen in regards to constantly encouraging and cheering his teammates on. Stays aggressive at all times offensively, and he has supreme athleticism. He plays above the rim with ease and probably has the best cardio of any freshman that I saw at the showcase. If he continues to just keep his head up while dribbling, so that he can see the whole floor, he'll be a playmaker for not only himself but for everyone he plays with.
