Here's some players most of you aren't aware of but will make huge impacts this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2561914' first='Pierson' last='Dejneka'] is coming off of one of the most stellar aau/travel season's for anyone in recent history of the mountain state or even the tri-state area. Pierson, despite shooting it rather well last school season, largely flew under the radar but we wouldn't bet on that lasting much longer. Look for him to be Huntington High's leading scorer and possibly averaging 20+.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303405' first='Kris' last='Doleman'] has been a do-it-all guard of sorts for the Patriots which speaks volumes of his talent and desire to win. Doleman has great point guard qualities but has no problem sliding over to the wing when necessary. If he continues to show his strengths as a two-way guard, attention from college coaches will be there by season's end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2686841' first='Austin' last='Porta'] is maybe the best pure scorer on this list but also maybe the most unknown mostly impart from being at a small school in the shadows of two 4A programs in the same town. However, Porta has launched himself into all-state consideration as well as a likely candidate for one of the state's top scorers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2337570' first='Kayden' last='Knapp'] will hit the gym just as soon as he's finished QBing the Monarch's football team. Knapp is one of the state's better two sport athletes and has had the double duty title since his sophomore year. Knapp will emerge as the Monarchs lead dog and likely lead them in multiple statistical categories.

[player_tooltip player_id='2704995' first='Nathan' last='Dixon'] showed big flashes of what his potential was all last season. The rangy wing continued his momentum into aau/travel season where he gained some great experience which will equate into growth on both ends. Greenbrier East has a complete and talented lineup that could allow Dixon to be a real matchup problem.

[player_tooltip player_id='2679289' first='Malcolm' last='Brown'] showed us in the second half of last season that he can flat motor and score. Brown who's also a top player on the Black Eagles football squad will come into basketball season with a great deal of confidence and experience rolling over from last year. Brown's strong build and athleticism will be a problem for smaller guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434237' first='Collin' last='Lemley'] is certainly the least known on this list as he's played a very small Christian school the last few years but has transferred to SSAC member school Trinity Christian in Morgantown. All the while, Lemley has sprouted up to the 6'7"-6'8" range which has many anticipating his debut in the Warriors lineup. Lemley has had great outings in travel ball season so we shall see how he stacks up against school competition but we expect he has plenty of talent to couple with his length.
