We continue our look at Kansas prospects aiming to take the next step this winter — increasing their impact and production as the new season quickly approaches.    Last season, Gilbertson played a key supporting role for Circle, working alongside a strong senior group and picking his spots to attack offensively. He consistently showcased his ability to shoot the ball, especially from deep, with impressive range and consistent accuracy. Over the summer, he showed encouraging growth as both a slasher and ball handler. This year, Clayton will be called upon to elevate his production — with the ball in his hands more frequently, he'll be expected to score efficiently and facilitate for others at a high level.     Jace played a vital role for a highly competitive Bishop Seabury squad last season, complementing a deep core of productive players with his ability to space the floor and knock down catch-and-shoot opportunities. His shooting forced defenses to play him — and his teammates — straight up, limiting their ability to over-help or rotate. Hoffman also showed flashes of initiating offense and pushing the tempo in transition, creating quick scoring chances and keeping the pace high. This winter, he'll step into a much larger role. With the ball in his hands more consistently, he'll be tasked with creating opportunities for both himself and his teammates. Expect a more complete version of Jace this season — attacking off the dribble, initiating sets, moving efficiently off the ball, and embracing a leadership role for Bishop Seabury.     Stubbs, also an essential member for Bishop Seabury last winter, used his athleticism to make an impact on both ends of the floor. He rebounded and defended at a high level, consistently creating extra possessions on offense and finishing defensive stops with physicality and timing. His length and instincts allowed him to protect the rim effectively, often sparking transition opportunities where he could run the floor and finish above the rim. This season, Marion looks to take the next step — expanding his offensive game and evolving into a primary scoring option capable of creating his own shot and drawing defensive attention. For Bishop Seabury to make another deep run, Stubbs' production will need to continue trending upward.     Colton, a crucial returning piece of Baldwin's core, enters this season with a strong opportunity to further develop and expand his overall game. After a solid summer, he looks poised for a highly productive winter — showcasing a polished back-to-the-basket post game built on patience and deliberate footwork. He also demonstrated the ability to face up and attack bigger defenders off the dribble, using a quick and athletic first step. With continued growth as a rebounder and defensive presence, Collum is positioned to take a significant leap as a two-way contributor and key impact player for Baldwin this season.     Cameron returns to Rossville this winter as part of a talented core that helped power the team to significant success last season. A long, rangy athlete, he remains an underrated prospect with plenty of upside. Offensively, he flashed the ability to score in a variety of dynamic ways. His transition play stood out — pushing the ball coast to coast, navigating defenders, and finishing with a blend of power and finesse. He also showed promise as a shooter, knocking down shots from both mid-range and beyond the arc. This season, Cameron will be called upon to elevate his production — becoming more of a volume scorer, stretching the floor with his shooting, and asserting himself as a dominant interior presence with his athleticism and physicality.
