Dominic Byra Dominic Byra 5'10" | PG Campolindo | 2029 State CA-N did exactly what you want from a point guard—he set the table. Playing a pass-first role this week, Byra controlled the game with poise and feel, consistently putting teammates in the right spots. While his mindset was to facilitate, he showed he can flip the switch and get aggressive offensively when the moment calls for it.

What really stands out is his decision-making. For a freshman who isn’t afraid to take risks, his assist-to-turnover ratio is impressive and speaks to his confidence and understanding of the game. He plays ahead of the action and sees reads before they fully develop.

On the defensive end, Byra’s anticipation separates him. He jumped passing lanes, created deflections, and was comfortable ripping his man one-on-one. His instincts and competitiveness on both ends gives Campolindo a star point guard for now and for the next few years
