Outlook
- Vashon: The Wolverines are loaded and poised to make a run at the Class 4 state championship. Juniors Daniel Farris and Levi Stockard III have been starters since their freshman years, when they led the now-closed Madison Prep to back-to-back Class 3 state Final Four appearances. There is plenty of size and talent to support the talented junior duo.
2. Miller Career Academy: The Phoenix made an impressive run to the state quarterfinals. Juniors Javonte Perkins and Corey Boyd lead a big and talented front line.
3. Soldan: The Tigers are quick and tenacious, which helped them win a district title a year ago. Senior Christian Simms is a tremendous penetrating guard while freshman Jesse Little has already made a big impact as the team’s leading scorer early in the season.
4. Northwest: Senior Charles James is one of the league’s top point guards. He is quick and can get to the basket. There is plenty of size inside, led by the 6’5″ Williams, who is an excellent rebounder.
5. Carnahan: Junior post Tyrone Wright is averaging 17 points a game at the beginning of the season.
6. Metro: Senior 6’5″ forward Vincent Phillips is averaging 20 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game.
