<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What 2027 prospects left an impression on us at the recent Prep Hoops National Open Championship in Indianapolis?&nbsp; These are the players from around the country that did just that!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Maxwell Vise (Indiana Elite Team Tradition)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Really liked what we saw from this 6'6” power forward from Indiana.&nbsp; He is a long and rangy post with super long arms and plus athleticism.&nbsp; Rim runs with ease, high/low seals, big dunks, and can knock in mid-range jumpers. &nbsp;Impressive passer for a big man and is a solid defender. &nbsp;Upside here!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Andrew Reithman (Indiana Elite Team Tradition)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reitman was a good second scorer for this squad.&nbsp; The guard is a good three point shooter with a solid frame along with solid passing instincts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Miles Jackson (Upside Athletics)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson had a big game in their final game of the event dropping 20 points in the victory.&nbsp; At 6'3” he has nice size and athleticism as a shooting guard.&nbsp; Plus three point shooter that poured in four of them as he has very good shot prep and a clean shooting stroke.&nbsp; Slick ball handler that cand also create for euro steps and layups at the rack along with finding teammates for scores.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Austin Lucchetti (Davis Brothers Elite)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lucchetti came up big in the championship game leading his Davis Brothers Elite team to the title with 18 points.&nbsp; Four man that uses his physicality around the hoop.&nbsp; Works well in the pick/roll game, makes hook shots, and cuts off the ball.&nbsp; Tough defender on the interior.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Logan Ramczyk (Davis Brothers Elite)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ramczyk is a combo guard who notched 16 points in the title game.&nbsp; Hit an array of threes getting nice elevation off the floor on a consistent basis.&nbsp; Layups cutting off the ball and is a solid defender getting steals along with blocking a three.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Max Tanner (Illinois Bears)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Got my first look at Tanner at the National Open Championships and this guard from Kentucky is one to track.&nbsp; Good scorer that can post up and also play out on the perimeter as a shot maker.&nbsp; Versatile guard that has some secondary passing in his bag as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Maxwell Beeninga (Minnesota Fury)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Starting point guard for the talented Minnesota Fury squad.&nbsp; He had a nice second half with his soft touch finishing game long with getting layups on cuts off the ball.&nbsp; Makes good passing decisions on the move.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kolby Thompson (Minnesota Fury)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Came off the bench to provide a spark in the first half of the game we saw.&nbsp; Pushes in transition, can knock in a corner three, and is crafty scoring in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Raymond Brau (Minnesota Fury)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brau is a 6'6” post with a nice frame and long arms.&nbsp; He sealed well in the high/low game along with utilizing spin moves in the post and rebounding in his area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lucas Auner (UTC Fire National)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Auner had a strong showing in their upset win over Fury.&nbsp; Won on straight line takes to the rack, spinning layups, and crashed the glass well from his guard&nbsp; spot for second chance points racking up 19 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jackson Riley (UTC Fire National)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riley is a lead guard that passes well off live dribbles, has a soft touch finishing game in the paint, and is a capable three point shooter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Brayden Reinke (UTC Fire National)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tough forward that can stretch the floor with his three point shooting and turnaround jumpers.&nbsp; Cuts well off the ball for scores on the move.&nbsp; Also is a gritty defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
