Future Stars Classic: Friday Night Recap 11U-12U

With multiple key matchups taking place in the 11U and 12U divisions, players got a chance to put their skills on display in the opening night of competition. With good size and solid footwork Pehl had no trouble maneuvering in the paint and scoring. Pehl played a pivotal role on the defense side of the ball. Fighting to the basket and clearing out defenders in front to get the rebound. Janssen's used his size and physicality to his advantage, getting the bucket and drawing the foul. With speed and good footwork, Pruett was able to shake defenders and get to the rim, with more than a few impressive layups on Friday night. With a strong jump shot Reiner was able to hit from the perimeter. But Reiner was also able to use his quickness to get to the rim and score. Driving hard and pulling up with a nice floater to tie the game with less than 10 seconds to go and force overtime. With Sanford eventually prevailing in the extra period.
