[player_tooltip player_id='1672428' first='Logan' last='Johnson'] (Ambassador Christian), [player_tooltip player_id='2523070' first='Jordan' last='Buzzard'] (East Mecklenburg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2560550' first='Hunter' last='Gerould'] (Gaston Day) are the newest names to know with Carmel Christian heading into 2025-26 as head coach Tamar Slay looks to continue with his success. Carmel Christian came up short in the NCISAA 4A State Championship game against Christ School. Given their latest additions, they'll certainly be back.

Johnson is a Division I prospect with offers from La Salle, North Carolina A&T, Duquesne, Radford and Western Carolina. He'll certainly raise the profile of the Cougars on the NCISAA stage given his ability to attack the paint with his strength and athleticism. His ability to make plays on both ends of the floor should benefit Carmel Christian and their style of play greatly.

Buzzard is probably the most underrated prospect out of the bunch since recently committing to Coastal Carolina University following a productive stint on the 3SSB stage with Upward Stars. He put up 11.6 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 2.8 bpg and 2.1 apg for the East Mecklenburg Eagles in 2024-25 as a junior. Look for him to anchor the frontcourt in 2025-26 in a similar fashion.

Gerould joins after getting some experience on the NCISAA stage in 2024-25 as a freshman. He's a lengthy forward whose presence should be a force alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2523070' first='Jordan' last='Buzzard'] this upcoming season. He put up 6.1 ppg and 1.7 rpg as a freshman this past season and certainly has room to grow with Carmel Christian.
