Elton was probably a top 3 dual threat guard on Wednesday that I was able to watch, and they capitalized on a clutch prime time win over the Kinkaid School. Richardson is a speedy, physical defender on the perimeter and also is a valuable playmaker for the Tigers. He can shoot a mid-range off the dribble and drive to the basket drawing fouls and cashing in at the stripe. Elton is a good vocal defender as well, calling audible cues to his teammates and is one of the best motors on the floor. I'll be looking for him to continue this momentum into the rest of grassroots and the academic school season.

Hasting is a good, playmaking point guard who has a knack for finding his teammates on the offensive side of the ball. He uses his speedy quickness and lightning-fast decision making either getting to his spot sinking a shot or diming one of his teammates for a quick bucket. Stewart plays his lane correctly on fastbreaks and is a good on-ball defender. You can definitely tell by his demeanor on the court that Hasting will be one of the leaders on the Village team this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2555359' first='Keondre' last='Hebert'] was a strong finisher under the basket for Crosby in their game during the showcase. Hebert is a tall guard who can use his height to score over physical defense, and he is a clutch defender who helps guard one of the best ballhandlers on the other team. Hebert has a good motor when hustling for loose balls and was an impressive three level scorer.

Andres Gomez was probably one of the best off-the-dribble shooters during the Showcase and hit several clutch buckets to help Kinkaid get momentum. Gomez uses the pick and roll effectively as the ballhandler and is an underrated passer as well as never passing up an open drive to the rim, even with a taller opposing matchup in his face. He has good heart and is one of the hardest fighting guards on the court when it comes to motivating his teammates and being a positive leader.

Tyrie was the quickest guard on display Wednesday night as Klein Oak took home a win to end the night. Wooten has lightning quick off the dribble speed and is a big time shot maker in the midrange or from three-point land. I really liked his energy, and he was one of the most reliable scoring options for Klein Oak on Wednesday night. He uses shiftiness and numerous dribble moves to skate by the defense and score the basketball. Look for "Juice" to make some noise this upcoming season.
