Rankings Update Rising Freshman

The CIF State D II Championship game at The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. He's a long, and growing shooting guard, confidently dropped multiple 3's like a seasoned prospect, not phased by the moment to help his team claim the title. He'll play at Monterey Trail next season. He's one of those quick twitch guards with handles, and moves to create his shot, go by defenders, then get into the paint. He's a willing passer who'll deliver an assist, or bucket. He can drop a dime on the pull-up, and knock down open 3's. With that being said. The muscular big man plays with energy, and hustle running up and down the middle of the court. He's an active post defender, goes after blocks. You can see he's still developing his offensive post moves, and foot work. He has some defensive qualities, a good stance, alertness, he can play denial, has good help weak side. He fights over screens and will put a hand in face of the shooter. He's a triple threat from the high post, turns, squares, pass and drives. It looks like he can operate from around 15ft out. We saw solid dribble drives to get closer for paint jumpers, and layups. He's got the body and strength to get a bucket inside.
