Butterworth has only been playing basketball for a couple of years but you can see his potential. As a role player for Apollo, Sam is averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds per game in his Sophomore season. At 6’7, Butterworth is actually the best three point shooter on the Eagles roster. As he continues to add to his skill set, Sam is a name to keep an eye out for, long term.

Butterworth has only been playing basketball for a couple of years now and his ceiling is really high. It remains to be seen how much more (if any) he will grow but Sam has been training as a wing and shown some quality skill level as a stretch big/wing. As long as his game continues to develop, Butterworth should start to see some scholarship level attention come his way in the next couple of years. He has a chance to be a really good player and make an impact in the 3rd region.
